Mashcole Property Management, Inc. is strictly a third-party property management company focused on the Southern California markets. The company is hired by a variety of third-party clients ranging from institutional level investors to “mom and pop” investors. Our goal is to oversee the day-to-day operations and management responsibilities of their multi-family portfolios/properties.

Mashcole’s key personnel have extensive experience in the management of assets. These include projects requiring repositioning, due diligence, strong resident retention requirements and lease ups. Mashcole also coordinates renovation projects, which have ranged from $2,500 per unit to $25,000 per unit and up. The company was formed in 2004 and currently manages over 175 apartment communities totaling more than 7,000 units.

 

Joel Zide

Joel Zide

Mr. Zide, has more than 20 years of real estate experience and has managed portfolios in excess of 18,000 units of multi-family properties in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. Mr. Zide maximizes the profitability of property assets and NOI through revenue enhancements and expense controls. He also has extensive experience in the field of repositioning multi-family assets with the oversight of construction projects ranging from $500,000 to more than $10,000,000 in renovations. He has worked for numerous institutional clients throughout the country with real estate values in excess of more than $1 billion and has focused his management skills on operating apartment communities consisting of 20-250 units or more. Through his collective experience, Mr. Zide believes property management is a people business and that mutual respect is the key to maximizing the performance of human resources at both the corporate and site levels. This mindset has allowed him to effectively motivate staff while increasing results at his properties. Mr. Zide is fluent in Spanish and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

Craig C. Senia

Mr Senia has been involved in real estate management, asset management, and finance for over 15 years. Mr. Senia oversees the corporate infrastructure, operations and strategic planning for Mashcole Property Management. He also heads the accounting and finance department. He spent much of his time acquiring, repositioning, and managing multi-family assets in both the California and Arizona markets. Mr. Senia currently serves as Broker of Record for Mashcole Property Management. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, a BA (Economics) from University of California, Santa Barbara, and a California Real Estate Brokers License. Prior to co-founding Mashcole Property Management, he served as Vice-President/General Manager for Cox Enterprises (Cox Business Services) based in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Senia has held P&L responsibility for an $86-million annual operating budget, overseeing almost 100 employees in the Western United States.
